Outdoor Invisilight
Overview
Outdoor InvisiLight is a discreet fiber routing solution for buildings with difficult indoor cable pathways. It uses slim 3.8mm fiber cord to follow exterior wall edges, siding lines, and roof. The system helps conceal cabling while preserving the finished look of the space. It is well suited for residential and commercial environment. This method reduces the need for more invasive construction or exposed cable runs. The result is a clean, efficient pathway for modern fiber connectivity.
Scope of Work
- Route thin fiber cable along exterior wall corners up to the top of each unit entrance.
- Mount a point-of-entry fascia above each suite door to serve as the fiber termination point.
- Prepare a hole behind the access point for future in-suite installation without bringing the fiber inside at this stage.
Equipment Used
- Thin fiber installation cord
- Clips for securing the fiber to the wall
- Point-of-entry fascia components
- Fiber testing and termination tools as required
Result
The completed installation supported faster deployment, reduced the risk of fiber damage, and provided long-term cable protection from routine maintenance activity. It also created a scalable pathway for future cable needs, lowered installer fatigue through lightweight materials, and delivered a neat, professional finish.
